Alda Sigmundsdóttir
Alda is an Icelandic-born writer, journalist. She is the author of several books about Iceland (each title starts with "Little book of... Icelanders / Icelandic Hidden people / etc.) She was born is Iceland but grew up abroad, and moved back later as an adult. Therefore she has a good understanding of locals, foreigners who live in Iceland and tourists as well. I really enjoy following her Facebook blog and newsletter where she explains and comments the major happenings in the Icelandic society and politics.
