Description
We will be travelling to the most special areas that our backyard has to offer. This is the most ultimate 4X4 experience.
Deserted tracks in combination with a stunning ruggedness of the surroundings, will result in an unforgettable experience. Mount Hekla is a 1450 meter high, one of Iceland’s most active volcanoes and last erupted in year 2000. During the Middle Ages, Europeans called the volcano the “Gateway to Hell.”
Next we drive to Landmannalaugar, a highland paradise where the extraordinary colours of the area leave nobody untouched. After a relaxing and wonderful bath in the natural warm river we head back to our hotel in Reykjavík. Depending on conditions your Arctic Trucks instructor/guide will decide what tracks are most difficult to drive in finalising our task for today, a view on the volcano and a visit to Landmannalaugar.
