The Cheers to Reykjavík Tour combines local craft beer and food tasting with Icelandic culture and lots of fun.
If you are into local craft beer, good local foods and learning about Icelandic culture, customs and current affairs then this tour is for you.
You will taste at least six different Icelandic beers and ales, all paired with a local Icelandic courses, served “tapas” style. You will taste fish just out of the sea as it was caught earlier the same day from the pier right outside your window. We also include the famous Icelandic lamb know for it's sweet and wonderful taste as they roam wild in the Icelandic mountains living on mountain grass and herbs. The Icelandic lamb tastes like no other.
We'll take you through the history of Icelandic ales and modern craft beers and tell you how Icelanders managed to survive this harsh and cold environment. This event is informal and your knowledgeable local host will discuss anything under the Arctic sun, take questions and give honest advice about Iceland and especially about travelling and enjoying your stay here.
