It's actually highly likely that you've heard this band before, it's probably the most famous on this list. A folk-rock band that has been rapidly expanding for the last few years. Björk has nothing on Of Monsters and Men. Simply beautiful music.

Raggae band guaranteed to get you in a good mood. "Hossa Hossa" is their most famous song. At the front of the band is singer Salka Sól, considered a national treasure by many.

This is an absolute must hear alternative rock band. They have a very unique sound and a passion unmatched by anyone. I personally recommend "Salt" and "Ströndin". But every song is worth a listen.
